What is laparoscopy in children?

Laparoscopy is minimally invasive or "keyhole" surgery. Instead of a large incision, the surgeon uses small ports and a camera to see inside the abdomen and perform the operation. For children, this often means less pain, smaller scars, and faster return to school and play.

What to expect
